Philadelphia Toboggan Company second row carousel horse posed in the characteristic PTC oblique jumping position. The all wood figure wears a unique saddle, fringed blanket, broadly scalloped breastband and a rippled blanket on the hindquarters. The glass-eyed head is raised on an arched neck furnished with a roached mane while the carved tail is knotted in the trademark style of Frank Carretta. Older restoration with minor paint loss. 63 long.
