Second row all wood jumper from the Charles Carmel carousel works. A simple saddle with fancy scalloped and tasseled skirt rests on a “quilted” and fringed blanket, the whole secured by a double breastband having having fringe and tassels. A curved sword depends from the cantle. The glass-eyed head, restrained by a fancy bridle, is raised above level on an erect neck furnished with a bi-directional mane carved in high relief. Restored, 55 inches long.
