From the Angers, France atelier of Gustave Bayol. A large smiling pig harnessed of a scalloped blanket featuring handpainted flowers, ribbons and butterflies and a ribboned neckband having a scrollwork motif. The leaping figure retains its curled metal factory tail tied with a carved ribbon as well as the Bayol factory tag. Good condition. 71 inches long.
