Circa 1927 middle row stander from the Long Beach, Long Island Illions Supreme carousel. The all wood figure with its glass-eyed head raised above level is harnessed of an English style saddle girthed over a bordered blanket. The chest is encompassed by a breast band having three ribbons ending in tassels while the breeching on the hindquarters bears an additional three ribbons. Small crack on one hoof and small loss to another, otherwise in excellent park paint condition. 50 long x 50 high.
