Circa 1900 standing giraffe from the Charles Looff workshop in Brooklyn, NY. The giraffe bears a simple saddle with a parrot cantle resting on a "plaid" blanket, the whole secured by a fancy breastband and breeching with classic composition jewel keepers and tassels. Time-worn park paint. 52 long x 66 high.
