Late 1800s smiling cow from the atelier of Gustave Bayol, Angers, France. Bossy is harnessed of a plain blanket secured by breastband, shoulder strap, neck collar and breeching. She sports big brass horns, a carved cowbell and a ribbon on her tail and is pastured on a green wooden base. A many layered distressed paint history attests to her age. 73 long x 50 high.
