In the early 1900s Salvatore Cernigliaro was credited with introducing the rabbit to the Dentzel carousel menagerie. The wooden leaping figure is furnished with a simple saddle girthed over a rippled blanket and a scarf encircling its neck. Excellent condition with impressive fur detail. 53 inches long, stand included.
