All wood carousel horse from the Dentzel carousel factory in Germantown, Philadelphia, PA. The prancer carries its head at level on an erect neck having a cascading mane carved in high relief. The saddle rests atop a bordered blanket and is secured by a fringed and jeweled breastband and shoulder strap while complementary breeching and loin straps enclose the hindquarters. The figure is in good conditon but has significant delamination on the face. 60 inches long x 63 inches high, stand and pole included.
