Late 1920s wooden horse by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company, last aboard the Royal American Shows carousel. The animated jumper carries its glass eyed head on an erect neck furnished with a tousled mane. The dapple grey horse is appointed with trappings in tournament style, the saddle with a sharply pointed flap rests on a blanket, the chest is encompassed by a deep peytral while the hindquarters have complementary breeching. Professionally restored, in excellent condition. 39 inches chest to rump, 60 inches high on provided display stand.
