All wood Marcus Illions horse parted out in 1990 from the 1905 Boblo Island carousel located on Bois Blanc island in Ontario, Canada. The glass-eyed head with lolling tongue is raised on an erect neck furnished with a gold mane. Trappings include an eagle back saddle, scalloped breastband and fancy breeching all punctuated with jewels. Though bearing a few blemishes older restoration by Tony Orlando is in fine condition. Natural horsehair tail, 54 inches long, stand and brass included.
