Circa 1920 antique carousel jumper from the Marcus C. Illions carousel manufactory in New York. The pretty in pink palomino horse carries its bowed head on an arched neck furnished with a gold leaf mane. The simple saddle accented with a swirling painted motif rest on a striped blanket and is secured with a breastband and crupper bearing jeweled medallions. All wood with glass eyes and horsehair tail, nicely restored with gold leaf and sparkling jewels. 45 long x 45 high.
