Turn of the century impressively large outside row prancer. The dashing
dapple grey steed is lavishly harnessed of elaborate trappings. Incised
and fringed lappets depend from the shoulder strap and crupper while the
flower bedecked breast band and breeching carry carved tassels. The saddle
is girthed over a blanket with a carved border and terminates in a scrolled
cantle bearing a carved floral motif. The glass eyed head carrying a metal
bit reveals a pleasant expression and is raised on a neck furnished with
a deeply carved mane. Natural horsehair tail, display stand included.
61 long x 64 high. 43 chest to rump.
