The desirable Dentzel mare, circa 1900. Presenting in nearly flawless natural wood, the elegant prancer carries an "English" style saddle and a bordered saddle blanket. Incised borders decorate the double straps spanning the shoulder and are repeated on the breeching. The refined Arabian type head is carried on an upright neck from which flows a generously carved forward flowing mane. Natural horsehair tail, glass eyes, stirrup hangars and bit rings. 49 long x 59 high.
