| 917-2 - Dentzel - $5800 Circa 1890 prancer bearing an "English" style saddle and scalloped breastband typical of the early Dentzel factory output. The refined face with kindly expression is accented with glass eyes while a mane deeply carved in flowing tendrils follows the curve of the neck. The cream maned brown horse with red, yellow and green trappings presents in good solid condition with old park paint, has feathered fetlocks and a natural horsehair tail and retains its stirrup hangers, bit rings and reins. 50 long x 49 high. |
