This middle row Illions carousel horse is one of several that were added to the Looff carousel from Midland Park on Staten Island, when it was moved to Keansburg, NJ in 1913. A dainty horse with a pretty face this jumper is harnessed of a double cinched and buckled saddle with fishscale skirt. A fringed scarf issues from a tasseled knot at the cantle and swirls in a graceful drape across the side to be tucked under the scalloped breastband. Refined mane treatment, glass eyes, horsehair tail. 51 long x 52 high, 41 chest to rump.
