776-3 - C.W. Parker - $6,500
With upraised head in "Stargazer" pose this dashing circa 1916
outer row jumper spent its last working days on a park carousel in Springfield,
Missouri. An older restoration in excellent condition, sparkling with
jewels and enhanced with silver and gold, the horse is painted as a cocoa
brown and white pinto with a leather colored saddle, the cantle forming
a Parker trademark ear of corn. A foliate device issues from beneath the
jewel punctuated breastband and a fringed, bordered and jeweled saddle
blanket flows from beneath the saddle. Glass eyes, natural horsehair tail.
63 long x 44 high, 39 chest to rump.
