| 563-3 - Herschell-Spillman - $5,000 Circa 1912 Herschell-Spillman presented as a pale dapple grey neighing jumper with vivid contrasting trappings in burgundy, gold, pink and black. The elongated saddle rest on a blanket exhibiting an unusual dentilled border and flipped back rear corner. The mane is carved in high relief tendrils and nicely detailed musculature accentuates the body. In very good condition with natural horsehair tail. 49 long x 49 high, 37 chest to rump. |
