The naturalistically painted figure carries a fanciful saddle having a fringed skirt, secured by a scalloped breastband, and resting on a tasseled blanket of elaborate curvilinear design. The cantle sports a bust of an fancifully costumed gentleman habited in an Elizabethan ruff and a curiously designed three tiered hat. Restored. 60 long x 78 high.
