Circa 1913 carousel horse from the Philadelphia Toboggan Company in Germantown near Philadelphia. A bold white jumper with tightly tucked legs, having an open mouth head with glass eyes raised on an upright neck crested with a deeply carved serpentine mane. The animated figure is harnessed of a large saddle with high cantle resting on streamlined Art Deco type trappings including a jeweled peytral with epaulette. Good condition. 55 long x 44 high.
