Late 1800s carousel horse from the German carousel works of Eugen
Lengle in Bruschal, Germany. The alert head, restrained by a buckled
headstall, is carried on an upright neck with a flowing mane of five
skeins. This black and white pinto prancer appears in park paint carrying
a simple saddle over a bordered blanket and is further harnessed of
shoulder straps, breastband, breeching and loin straps. Good condition,
glass eyes and natural horsehair tail. 45 long x 50 high. |
