A contemporary figure, in the 1917 Parker style, hand carved in the traditional
manner and material of the old master carousel carvers - basswood, primed,
sanded, ready to paint. The arched neck with flared mane carries a glass
eyed head tucked behind the vertical and echoes the classic Parker stretched
out jumper theme, this time festooned with flower garlands in high relief
on the arched neck, entwined in a decorative scarf and flowing from beneath
