Circa 1895 camel from the Charles Looff factory. The all wood inner row
stander carries a simple saddle girthed over the Looff trademark plaid blanket;
wide breast band and breeching embrace the body while the headstall features
another Looff trademark—a beaded keeper enclosing a glass jewel. The
figure presents in good structural condition, with a park paint surface
showing age and use, glass eyes, stirrups and reins. A perfect menagerie
figure for the smaller space. 42 high x 50 long. |
